Being a sort of remake of the first Castlevania, however, ever if there are a couple secrets here and there (all besides one won't change much if you find them or not) the adventure is linear. Big and diverse enough, they make for a long and interesting adventure. Sounds effects are ok at best, sometimes annoying. Despite the hardware limitations, it's still amazing to listen to. Solemn music that really puts you in the unholy setting. Even 30 years later the graphic still looks good. This is the first Castlevania on the Snes and they really did use the hardware well. Big levels, diverse enough (considering they are all set within the castle), huge bosses with several special effects (like a boss that starts huge and shrinks as you hit it), parallax, some levels with more than one plane. Besides the obligatory Mode 7 level (which, to be honest, does not bring much to the game) the visuals are stunning. 70% Super NintendoPersonally I am quite attached to this game, as this was the first SNES game I have ever played, back in 1993.
